Leader Quest was established in 1997 and serves clients in Canada and the United States.

Jack Shand, CMC, CAE, is Leader Quest’s president. Prior to his consulting career, Jack led national associations as the chief executive, including the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE), where he was president for ten years.

Jack has also been an active volunteer with the American Society of Association Executives, McMaster University, ALS Society of Canada, and the Peter F. Drucker Award for Innovation in Nonprofit Management (Canada). He has made presentations on leadership, governance, and HR issues to major conferences, association and charity events. Jack has authored publications including The Role of Volunteers in Nonprofit Organizations and Succeeding At Succession, and he has a monthly column in Village Vibes at charityvillage.com.

Jack maintains professional memberships in the Canadian Association of Management Consultants, the Human Resources Professionals Association, and the International Association of Facilitators. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto, a certified management consultant (CMC) and a certified association executive (CAE).
